AI Impact Alliance invites organizations of all sectors and sizes to join an online meeting bringing together partners across Southeast Asia who want to better understand the possibilities and risks of artificial intelligence (AI).
We believe that thriving digital economies depend on strong, informed, and ethical civil societies. Civil society organizations play an essential role in helping communities navigate change, by building AI literacy, shaping ethical frameworks, and ensuring that technological development reflects shared human values.
This is why businesses, academic institutions, and community organizations are all invited to the table: to share what they need, what they can offer, and how we can collaborate more effectively. Businesses do better in democratic systems; democracies are stronger when civil society is equipped to engage critically with technology.
The purpose of this inaugural meeting is to identify concrete opportunities for collaboration and joint funding that reinforce the social and cultural foundations of innovation, and ensuring that AI serves peace, democracy, and the common good.
By working across borders and sectors, we can co-create an ecosystem where technology strengthens, rather than replaces, human agency and cultural diversity.
